Day 2 of #nocomplaints30 is almost done, and I have a question for you.
Amplifying negativity – does it still count as complaining? Do you think it matters if “technically” it’s negotiable but you know you are still helping it spread?
This challenge is not just about keeping your negative thoughts to yourself. It is about becoming aware of the imbalance of your negative vs positive thoughts, the words you speak, and the actions you take as a result. That includes what you consume unconsciously, for entertainment, or just to pass the time.
It also includes what you signal to other people that you agree with.
Day 2 has been pretty cool! I started to get a little clearer on how it feels to appreciate what I have. That is the beauty of creating the list of things I enjoy. Now I get to go back and ask myself “how would I rate my level of enjoyment of this particular aspect, and why?”
Lots to look forward to tomorrow 😊
If you’ve decided to jump on the journaling band wagon, you are right on track! Let me know how it’s going in the comments, tag me in a post, or slide into my DMs (if you want to).
I’ll tell you one thing I wasn’t expecting: that I actually have the energy and focus to do the projects I’ve been putting off. When I put my inner critic down on paper, I am able to start seeing what is real.
Thank you Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon for this challenge!
I am looking forward to day 3!
