Day 1 – Bonus Content!

Day 1 of #nocomplaints30 with Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon and the Modern Mystery School International.

I don’t know if I am doing this right. The purpose of a “No complaining” challenge is to focus on the positive. In my experience, the negative chatter doesn’t stop just because you tell it to.

So I am sharing the tools I use to quiet my mind. Today’s focus is journaling.

Yesterday I shared a post outlining three simple focal points to get you started on a strong foundation to stop the negative chatter that leads you to complain.

Complaining can happen online, over text, or it can be the words coming out of your mouth.

The reason it is important to be aware of this is that the words you share – through writing or speech – create what you see in the world. Maybe you believe me, maybe you don’t. That’s ok.

If you want the world to be a more peaceful place, you have to start with one small step.

Here’s one: Stop spreading negativity that agitates people – including yourself – into unpeaceful states.

Today is Day 1.

Do you want to follow along on my journey or do you want to join me? The choice is yours!

Day 1 of #nocomplaints30 is almost done.

I might be doing it wrong, but you know what at least I’m doing something.

Already had to correct myself once today. That is the beauty of a commitment at this level. If you act out of alignment, all you have to do is correct your course.

That is what I did.

It might take a few days to realize that those negative thoughts are pretty repetitive. Fortunately for us, they have a finite end. Let’s keep going with journaling until they get boring enough to ignore.

I am looking forward to Day 2! See you here tomorrow?
