Day 104

If you’ve completed the last two days, you know where we are today. If not, here’s a quick recap. Pick one of the following:

  • What kind of impact you want your life to have on the world at large, whatever capacity that is beyond your own life.
  • What kind of impact you want your mission or purpose to have on your life. What kind of material benefits you receive as a result of committing to that which you aspire to do (even if you haven’t fully identified the aspiration yet)? What kind of life do you get to live?
  • What kind of impact your purpose has on your experience of life itself? How does it feel, what does it cause you to learn, how does it “level you up” or help you grow and mature within yourself?

I don’t think I will add more context today. I think you understand the concept.

I’ve been envisioning this is as a diagram with three circles. Imagine you are in the center of the image. The first sphere, the smallest one, is within the confines of your physical body. That one represents the impact your purpose or mission has on you within – your inner world.

Then there’s a circle that barely encompasses your entire physical being, all around you. This represents the impact it has on your life personally.

The third is larger and encompasses you plus the other two circles. You can imagine this circle expands as far as you want your purpose to matter to the world. Maybe it includes your family, your friends, your colleagues, people in your neighborhood, your town or city, state, country, or the entire world at large.

Personally, I like to remember that who I am and what I choose to do matters to the entire world on some level. You can choose to believe that too, if you want.

Whichever one is left for you to contemplate, journal about that today.
