Day 53

August 22, 2026. Day 53.

Before we move back down the body, I want to pause for today.

There is something in your body that can help you heal.

It does, every single day. As soon as I start describing it, you will know what I mean.

It travels.

It carries oxygen to every single cell in your entire physical being.

It transports waste away from your cells. It is keeping your body clean from within right now.

Blood. It is something we all have.

It does not hold your body together. It is not connective tissue, ligament, muscle, tendons.

It does not help your body move.

It does not contain the structure of your body. If you remove your bones, you become a jelly fish.

If you remove your blood, you cease to live.

Is blood important?

Absolutely.

And yet, it does not fit neatly into any one section of your body.

That is why, today, we will focus on blood.

Blood travels to every area of your body. So, for today, I want you to keep your blood in mind.

Not blood in your brain, that is a different thing.

Blood in your awareness.

Think about blood.

Think about what blood does for you. How does it keep you healthy?

How do you keep your blood healthy?

Do you drink a lot of water? Do you eat according to your blood type? Do you think about that at all?

Journal that today.

How are you grateful to your blood?

One thing I think is really cool about blood is that everytime you lose some, your body creates fresh blood.

We always glorify regrowing limbs like salamanders. Your blood does that too. You just don’t think it’s that cool because it doesn’t create a physical form. But it is more necessary to have enough blood in your body than it is for you to regrow a foot or an arm.

Blood transfusions are another interesting thing. The fact that your body can reject blood that it is not compatible with. The fact that people die if too much air is injected into the blood. The whole circulatory system is fascinating.

But we do not have to delve too deeply into that. At least not here, not now.

You are welcome to do your own research if you want to.

For today’s journaling prompt, I want you to express gratitude to your blood.

Thank your blood for keeping you healthy, strong, and fit.

If you desire to grow or change in any way because you are not happy with your body today, use that as part of your journaling prompt.

Ask your blood what you can do to help it help you in this purpose.

Drink more water today, and imagine it clearing your bloodline of waste.

Ask your blood what you can do to stay healthy and get healthier.

I will tell you what my answers were when I did this journaling prompt yesterday:

  1. Meditate
  2. Rest
  3. Drink Water.

3 things. That was it.

My blood wants me to decrease the pressure I put on myself in life. When my mind settles, my body follows suit. So I will listen. I mean, why wouldn’t I? Those instructions are easy to follow.

Meditate, drink water, relax. That is a key to a great life anyway.

Just relax.

I can talk about blood all day. Blood is life. No blood? No life. Bad blood? Bad life. So today, let us journal our course to having good blood in our veins.
