Today, let us focus on the fire within.
You have done so much work on letting go, revealing. Let us look at what we have revealed.
I want you to take a moment before you write and focus on your heart. Imagine a flame alive within you. That is what you have been working to reveal.
If you can, ask yourself what the flame has to teach you? What does it want you to know?
This can be about anything, but most specifically I want to focus on what it has to tell you about you.
So close your eyes. Imagine a flame in the center of your chest. It can be any color, and size, any degree of hot or cold. It can be moving, dancing wildly, or completely still. This is your exercise. Whatever comes to mind is ok. Even if you cannot see the fire, since we all do not visualize in our senses yet, then what can you sense? Can you smell the fire? Do you have a sense of it in your chest? Not anywhere else in your body, that is not the exercise today. Can you hear it in your chest? Feel it there? Taste it, maybe?
Whatever way you can connect with this flame is your way of connecting with the flame. It makes no difference what anyone else could or would do.
That’s the beauty of doing these journaling prompts! It’s like yoga without all the people to compare yourself to. Ask yourself what the flame has to teach you about you.
What do you want to know about yourself? Imagine this fire is a great wise Teacher who knows everything about you. What do you want to know about you? Past, present, future, unknown. Ask yourself at least 3 questions, and write down the answers that you receive.
Trust the responses.
See you tomorrow.
