Day 7 of #nocomplaints30
I had a great day yesterday. I ended up organizing a ton of clutter that had just been sitting. I actually enjoyed the clutter. It represented untapped potential, and it was also like organic agility training. I am even more grateful now that I could contain it in a way that makes sense to me.
How did yesterday go for you?
Did you enjoy the journaling exercise I shared?
I sure hope so. Because we are doing it again today.
Same formula.
10 gratitudes.
One thing you want to change.
1-3 ideas you have for making that change stick.
Remember your other lists. If this isn’t something you want to work on today, go back and do an exercise from the previous days.
We will be switching things up tomorrow, I promise! I just wanted you to start to gain awareness of how deep your gratitude can go.
Need a quick reminder, or you’re new here? Here is what we’ve done so far:
🌟Create a list of your negative thoughts and comments (complaints, dissatisfactions, the fact that we’re repeating the same exercise two days in a row)
🌟Create a list of your positive thoughts and comments (gratitudes, enjoyments, that you’re looking forward to a change)
🌟Rate the way each one makes you feel on a numerical scale (1 to whatever number you choose)
🌟Create a dream list. For each complaint, figure out what you wish existed in its place. Add everything you wish to see, experience, or have.
🌟Create a Matrix of Awareness. You will have to check out my videos from Day 5 for more clarity around this one.
🌟 Create an inventory of sources where you encounter negativity. Tally how often/how many negative comments you hear in a day from each source.
No matter when this video finds you, I hope you will start from Day 1 and join me in this process to #meetyourselfonpaper.
