Welcome to Day 5! #nocomplain30 with Sovereign Ipsissimus Dave Lanyon of the Modern Mystery School International.
I feel like I am mining for gold with this journaling process.
Yesterday, I was worried it was doing more harm than good.
Today I realize that is part of the process to #meetyourselfonpaper. Becoming aware of your negative thoughts and feelings might make you think you are being extra negative. You’re not.
What you are doing is choosing to shine a light on the critic in your mind. Up until now, he or she has been blabbering non stop. You have just been agreeing, agreeing, agreeing and preaching his or her gospel, treating it like it is fact.
By choosing to become aware of what this voice has been saying, you are starting to reveal a source of negativity that you get to evict out of your life for good.
You don’t have to pay anyone to clean up your mind. There is no janitorial service that can do that for you.
What you can do is invest effort and awareness and time and attention into seeing what needs to be cleaned up. Then, you have to decide that you want your mind to be clear.
So do you want your mind to be clear? Or do you want it to be filled with negativity, garbage, continuing to take the best that life has to offer for granted every single day and still complaining that you don’t have enough?
Believe it or not, those are your two options.
I choose clarity.
If you do too, watch the videos.
The things you think are negative might actually be things you enjoy.
