Time to choose: one prompt or the other.

Tomorrow, you will work on the other one 🙂 So there is no wrong answer really, or wrong choice I should say. No wrong answer either.

It is time to get even more creative! Feel free to use AI image generations to help you envision these two as well.

Since we’ve spent the last few days talking about where your Super Hero self originates from, in the context of where he or she will return to once your mission on Earth is done, let’s keep going in that vein of thought.

Here are your choices:

Choice A: Write a description of where your Super Hero self came from. This can be another planet, a star, a meteor, an asteroid, another country or city on Earth. It could even be the same place that you have been envisioning your Super Hero self working to protect and serve this whole time. Just decide what the place where you were before you started fighting crime looks like.

If it is the same place (same exact city, like Peter Parker/Spiderman grew up in NYC and became famous for being a Super Hero there too), then I want you to write what the city/town looked like BEFORE you started acting as a Super Hero, and what it looks like after you’ve “won” or “accomplished your mission”. When your Super Hero work is “complete”.

Get clear on what the place looks like.

• Is it a small town, a village, a busy city, somewhere in between? Maybe it’s even an urban slum somewhere with overcrowding, government corruption, a problem you wouldn’t be able to solve WITHOUT completing your mission first.
• Does this place have the same days and nights that you are used to here on Planet Earth?
• What kind of food do you eat there?
• What kind of amenities are around? For example, are there stores the way there are where you’re used to, is there the same kind of economy, do you have to buy things or is everything just available to all people for free?
• What does this “home planet” or “hometown” look like?
• Is there a government, or something else?
• Do kids go to school there, or is there another way for them to grow into educated adults?
• Do people work?
• Does education matter, or is there some other way of being able to operate successfully in the world?

There are lots of details you can imagine and make up in this exercise. Do people drive cars, ride bikes, walk everywhere, take public transportation? Do they fly, swim, hoverboard, ride in wheelchairs, skateboards, or something else that no one has ever thought of (yet)?

Remember, you can always return to any prompt if you get fresh, new ideas as the days go by and add to what you’ve already created. If more comes to mind, why not?

Choice B: Write a description of what your TRUE SELF looks like. Again, if you are envisioning that your place of origin is another planet, a star, a meteor, an asteroid, somewhere else in SPACE, what does your original body look like? Get really clear on what you looked like before you started acting as a Super Hero. Who were you before you started fighting crime?

• Can you imagine your “alien” face?
• If you are imagining yourself from another country or city on Earth, did you always look the way you were imagining our “Plain Clothes” self to look? Maybe in your hometown you were always sporting a tan because you spent all day every day out in the sun.

Remember, pick one prompt today, and do the other one tomorrow.

I won’t be adding an additional prompt on Day 86, so if you want to do both today you’re more than welcome to. Just remember that means tomorrow you’ll have to come up with something else to write about if you don’t want to skip a day!

As a writer, I believe the challenge is worth it to see what your creative side wants to express without being given any guidance, direction, or prompting.
