Today is the day we focus on guts.
Everything in your lower torso, from the bottom of your sternum (that bony structure that holds your rib cage together in the front of your body) all the way down to your toes.
I want you to meditate on the organs that are encased in this part of the body.
Spleen, intenstives (small and large), bladder, womb (if you are a woman or a girl), sex organs. Kidneys and liver could have been included in yesterday’s prompt, but if you feel them “coming online” or coming to mind while you do this exercise you can include them today too.
The stomach itself, most people think of the stomach as the whole bottom torso. Your stomach is actually at the uppermost part of this lower half of the body. Your stomach sits right below your ribs. Your stomach is on the left side, your liver is on the right.

So today, we are going to express gratitude for our internal organs all through the bottom of the torso. We are going to include the legs and feet, even though the majority of our organs are in the core. I want you to think about the muscles, tendons, tissues, ligaments, etc. in the legs. Just like you did with the arms and hands yesterday.
The body is a fascinatingly complex organism. Can you believe all of these things are present within us? Yet the only time we ever get to see them is when something goes horribly wrong.
Why is that? Who made that decision for us? How were humans designed?
These are good questions to ask yourself as you write down 3 ways you can take care of the bottom half of your body today. What do your organs and legs need to be taken care of today?
Tomorrow, we will keep working with the body for one more day. I will hand down a meditation you can do on your own time. Do you want that today?
I will wait until tomorrow. That way you can focus on your connection with yourself and your journaling prompt. See you tomorrow!
I am excited to see where we go from here.
